The Teamcenter Manufacturing Part Process Planning course is an introduction to the application used to create a manufacturing bill of process (MBOP) for parts. It is focused on the procedures associated with part planning and the tools used within Teamcenter to create and manage structures for product, plant, and process. Students will learn methods for creating process structures, selecting appropriate business object types for operations, sequencing process/operation/activities, managing and assigning resources (tools, fixtures, consumables), and creating associative relationships between physical and process structures. Teamcenter Part Planner is the primary application used in the course.
Students learn to define a process plan for part manufacturing operations. This includes the definition and management of product, process and plant structures and their relationships to each other, and to modify multiple manufacturing related structure data.
